The Philippine Association of Marine Science is pleased to call for student travel grant applications for support to participate in the 17th National Symposium on Marine Science (“Saving Our Seas: Restoring marine systems for people and nature”), which will be held at the Batangas State University (The National Engineering University) - Pablo Borbon Campus on 20-22 July 2023.

Eligibility:

• With accepted abstract (oral and/ or poster) for PAMS 17
• Must be enrolled in the Philippines (undergraduate or graduate) at the time of application
• Have not yet received any funding support from other external sources

Attachments:

• Motivation letter addressed to Dr. Ma. Gregoria Joanne P. Tiquio (University of the Philippines Los Banos), explaining why attending the Symposium would be useful and what you are hoping to achieve with your participation
• Accepted abstract and proof of abstract acceptance
• Brief CV (max. 2 pages)
• Proof of enrollment
• Statement of no external funding support signed by the applicant and supervisor
• Indicative budget information, i.e., estimated amounts for travel, accommodation, and subsistence
