Abstract Submission Guidelines
Eligibility Criteria
Open to undergraduate or graduate students, researchers and other professionals who wish to present original research or development work within any of the inclusive disciplines of marine science. It is preferred that the research work be in line with the theme of the Symposium.
Submission must be done online through the link provided below on or before 28 February 2025 at 11:59 PM.
Abstract Content
The Abstract must contain the following information:
Title of the work:
Must not exceed 30 words.
Main Content:
Must not be more than 250 words and must be written in one paragraph. It must contain the summary of the work done and must concisely contain the main problem being addressed, the research approach used, and the main scientific findings.
Keywords:
Must not exceed five key words/phrases.
Screening Process
Each entry will be evaluated, and authors with accepted abstracts will be notified by e-mail and be given further instructions regarding the oral or poster presentation format and the mechanics of the competition (if competing).
Only students who will officially register their participation in the Symposium can join the oral or poster competitions.
