Welcome to the University of the Philippines Cebu, the vibrant host of this year's conference!

The University of the Philippines Cebu, commonly known as UP Cebu or UPC, is a public research university and the youngest constituent unit of the University of the Philippines System. Nestled in the heart of Cebu City, UP Cebu is renowned for its scenic campus, blending historic architecture with modern facilities and lush green spaces.

UP Cebu operates on two campuses. The main campus in Lahug is situated along Gorordo Avenue and spans 12 hectares of land donated by the Cebu Provincial Government in 1929, although part of the area is currently occupied by informal settlers. The newly developed UP Cebu SRP campus houses the UP Professional Schools, which offer graduate programs such as the Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Computer Science, Master of Education, and Master of Science in Environmental Science.

On September 24, 2010, the UP Board of Regents granted UP Cebu autonomous status in preparation for its eventual recognition as a constituent university. This milestone was officially realized on October 27, 2016, when UP Cebu was formally elevated to a constituent university of the UP System.
